Phantom of the Opera

Meghan and I went to Phantom of the Opera on Saturday and it was TERRIFIC!!!!!! Meghan was excited to see it and we had great seats right under the giant chandeler. I asked her to rate her day and she gave it 10 out of 10. This was a great performance and I was glad to share it with her. It was a day I hoped made many memories as she celebrated her 14th birthday.

Phantom of the Opera

Meghan wanted just a couple of things for her Birthday. She wanted the 3rd book in Stephanie Myers "TWILIGHT SERIES", She got Eragon and Eldest book. The other BIG thing was she got was PHANTOM OF THE OPERA TICKETS!!!! Casually, a couple of weeks ago, Meghan just said out of the blue she would like to see Phantom of the opera. I started to look into it, and to make a long story short, got tickets at a discount. SO, Saturday, Meghan and I are going to see Phantom of the Opera. I think I might be just as excited as Meghan is.

Happy Birthday Paige!!!!!!!

Paige turned 11 years old yesterday. She had a great day. All she wanted was spend it with her friend and have steak for dinner. We spent the evening with her friend's family and enjoyed a wonderful evening. She also received Heelys which she was wanting for many, many months. It was a great day for Paige.

Loosing more teeth.

Madison lost yet another tooth while eating corn on the cob last night at dinner. She is sooooo proud of the holes in her smile.

I did it. 5K done and done well.

This past weekend, May 3, 2008, I ran the 5K for the race for the cure. I ran with some friends and Paige walked the mile with her friend and mom. I finished the 5K in 30min. 30 sec. That is pretty good for me since I haven't ran a 5K in some 18 years since high school. I will still keep on running and looking to do the diabetes run later in the summer to early fall.
